Important note about Windows Vista

StarLog has not been tested on Vista and I refuse to have Vista on any of my machines for the time being until major issues with drivers, etc. are sorted out. You are welcome to try StarLog on Vista but I can offer neither commentary on whether it will work nor assistance if it does not.

		Full installation with installer.  Use this version if you are running Windows 95/98 and think you may not have the Microsoft installer on your PC. Includes all support files required by StarLog.	N/A

	StarLog update (all users)
		Executable only.  Use this to overlay a new StarLog.exe over an existing installation (NB: the executable is sent as a zip file). Your existing installation must be at least initial release candidate 1.000.  If your current installation is older then you should download the complete installation and then upgrade. Latest version adds DXCC/Time ageing colour schemes to the band map and a completely new mults/DXCC matrix.  The mults matrix only works with the IARU contests at present. Scripts are now supported for PacketCluster connections.	N/A
	StarLog in-development (alpha) version
		Executable only.  !! Warning !!  This version, if shown as available, is very recently taken from my development environment and is a snapshot of my latest code, bugs and all.  Only download this if you know exactly what you are doing and understand the risks.  This stuff is for masochists only and may not work at all.  I recommend that you coordinate with me before downloading. Notes

Full installation with installer  The full installation includes the Microsoft installer, which may not exist on machines running Windows 98 or earlier.  Users of Windows 2000 and Windows XP will already have the installer and should download the smaller Full Installation.

Full installation  If you have installed StarLog before, or you are running Windows XP, or you know that you have the Microsoft installer on your PC already then you need only download this much smaller installation.  You'll need to uninstall any previous version of StarLog before you can install this one.

Executable only  If you have already installed StarLog on your PC and you know what you are doing, then you can just replace the executable, StarLog.exe.  Most times this will work OK and you don't need to uninstall/reinstall.  If an upgrade requires a complete re-install then the Executable only option will be missing or suitably annotated.
